Formulated to provide mild exfoliation, the Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Superficial Peeling Formulation from The Ordinary promotes a smoother, more evenly-toned complexion.
The serum is fortified lactic acid, an exfoliating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), to help improve the appearance of pigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture. The addition of a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative helps to soothe sensitive skin, while hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture.
Contraindications: Lactic Acid should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions.
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)

Exfolation
Added this to my skincare a few days a week to help exfoliate my skin and black heads. So far I am liking it and it does seem to be helping, without being too harsh

This is a great addition to my Ordinary skincare routine. It's gentle on the skin but I could see results after a few days. My skin feels happy with it :)

Love this product
I suffer from eczema so I have very sensitive skin. This product is the only exfoliating profuct my skin can tolerate leaving it feeling soft, the fine lines gone & giving that extra glow. Definitely reccomend.

great for acne
If your skin is acne prone, you definitely want to use lactic acid. This is one of the products that helped me to get a clear skin after suffering from acne for most of my adult life. I mix a drop of this serum together with salicylic acid and niacinamide serum from the Ordinary right into my moisturizer and apply it all together. This has been keeping my acne at bay
