Great but don't overuse
4I have been using tretinoin for a while and wanted to ensure my skin barrier remained strong so picked up this product. It's been really great to use and I can really see the effects working by the end of the week! However, I used it both morning and night and I think that was too much and I ended up in a very small breakout so adjusted to using it just in the morning or evening. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Amazing results in 2 weeks
5I got this free as part of a promotion, I don’t think I would have purchased it otherwise. The price doesn’t really match with Brandon Truaxe‘s original ethos for the brand so that’s a shame. However, this has transformed the resilience of my skin in only a few weeks. As soon as you put it on it feels soothing and hydrating, and now my skin is calm, it doesn’t flair up, redness is reduced. The product doesn’t bother my rosacea or sensitive skin, or cause breakouts. I didn’t want to love this but it will become a staple. It’s also helped with scars on my body.

Skin boost
3This threw me when I opened it as it was very pink;and I was worried it would make my kin pinker, but it didn’t. Not something I’d wear all of the time, but when my skin is red or blotchy this really helps.

Brilliant
5I have really dry skin at this time of year and also need to wear a high SPF all year round because of health condition so can sometimes have trouble with things sitting well with my SPF. This is perfect and sinks in really well and I’ve noticed how much more comfortable my skin feels, no tightness or flaky patches. I received this free but will definitely repurchase because it’s been really beneficial for me. I really like all The Ordinary products I’ve used so far.

OK serum?
3I love The Ordinary products (particularly the hyaluronic acid). As someone who has red and dry skin, and after reading the great reviews for this Soothing & Barrier Support Serum, I was really looking forward to trying it. However it has made no difference to the redness and if anything I've found it very drying on my skin. I much prefer the hyaluronic serum so will return to this.
