Infused with natural origin ingredients, the Wella Professionals Elements Calming Shampoo seeks to gently cleanse the scalp and strands to deliver a boost of hydration.
Thanks to an antioxidant-rich blend of white tea extract, pro-vitamin B5 and vegetable glycerine, the formula helps to remove impurities and excess oil, while locking in lasting moisture. The mild formula leaves hair feeling soft and nourished, adorned with a rich shine. The mild formula can be used to wash twice if needed and works best when used alongside Elements conditioner and hair mask.

I develop contact dermatitis on my scalp if I use shampoos with SLS or sometimes companies change the formular and I get a break out. I discovered this purely by chance and decided to give it a try. I am so happy it is amazing on my dry, porous, grey, frizzy hair and my scalp love it too. It took about 3 week to clear up the problem on my scalp but that is how it usually goes when I get a break out. I do have to wash my hair more frequently 2 to 3 times a week. I also use the Ordinary's Lactic acid on my scalp to help exfoliate it before washing, I find it is more gentle on the scalp than salicylic acid which is found in some shampoos to break down the dead skin and oils.

Not a fan
I didn’t like this product in my hair at all. It made it dry and feel unhealthy. I usually love wella products and thought this would be good for my extentions but it just left them tuggy.

I didn’t see the calming effects of this shampoo at all. My head can get very dry and itchy and it did nothing to change that. Lovely smell and nice as a normal shampoo though
