Clinique are a distinguished brand in the skincare and cosmetics industry

The Clinique brand was born in 1968 after an article in US Vogue that discussed whether a proper skincare regimen could really achieve great skin. Founded by Carol Phillips, editor of US Vogue; Evelyn Lauder, the daughter-in-law of Estée Lauder; and a qualified dermatologist, Norman Orentreich, Clinique was one of the earliest skincare brands to combine existing cosmetic science with traditional dermatology.

Today, Clinique is known for both skincare and cosmetics. The 3-2-1 principle of the company centres around a simple, three-step skincare regimen: cleanse, exfoliate, moisturise. As well as their range of dermatologically-tested Clinique skincare, today the company is also well-known for their cosmetic range, and especially for makeup in a wide range of shades and colours.
